• Serotonin Syndrome: Seek medical attention immediately if you experience symptoms of serotonin syndrome, such as agitation, hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle stiffness, twitching, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
• Discontinuation Symptoms: Do not stop taking Paxil CR abruptly, as this can lead to discontinuation symptoms.

Storage and Administration

• Storage: Store at controlled room temperature (68 – 77 degrees F).
• Administration: Take orally with water.

Additional Considerations

• Geriatric Patients: The elderly may require a lower initial dose due to increased plasma levels and prolonged elimination half-life.
