Betacin-N Cream is a topical medication designed to treat various skin conditions. It contains two active components: Betamethasone valerate, a potent glucocorticoid that reduces inflammation and suppresses the immune response, and Neomycin sulfate, an aminoglycoside antibiotic that is bactericidal against most Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria.

This cream is particularly useful for moist or weeping skin areas, such as the face, neck, and axilla. It provides swift relief from itching and discomfort associated with inflammatory conditions like eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. Additionally, it helps prevent infections in cuts and wounds.

The cream should be applied sparingly twice daily to thoroughly cleansed affected areas under medical supervision. Prolonged use must be avoided due to possible adverse effects, including skin thinning or increased susceptibility to infections.
