Duofilm is a topical medication designed to treat warts effectively. The 15ml glass bottle comes with a brush applicator, making it easy to apply the solution directly to the affected area. The active ingredients include 16.7% salicylic acid and 15% lactic acid.

Salicylic acid works by softening the skin of the wart, causing it to peel off, while lactic acid helps reduce skin thickening. The elastic colloidal film in Duofilm provides a viscous vehicle for accurate application and ensures the penetration of active ingredients into the warts. Additionally, lactic acid forms a film that keeps the skin moisturized, facilitating the elimination of warts.

For best results, apply Duofilm once a day until the wart has completely disappeared and normal skin texture is restored. Visible improvements can be observed within 1 to 2 weeks, with maximum effects typically seen after 4 to 8 weeks of treatment. However, if the wart persists beyond 12 weeks, it is recommended to consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Important notes: Duofilm should not be applied to large areas, the face, or the anogenital area. If the product comes into contact with mucous membranes or the eyes, rinse immediately and abundantly with water. It is not recommended for warts covering an area larger than 5cm² and should not be used in children under the age of 2 years. Consult a doctor before using it on children between 2 and 12 years old. Also, avoid using Duofilm if you have diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Always read the instructions carefully and seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
