Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium Tablets

Our Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium Tablets are designed to effectively treat a variety of bacterial infections. Each tablet contains 500 mg of amoxicillin, a powerful antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, and 125 mg of clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the effectiveness of amoxicillin against resistant bacteria.

These tablets are available in two strengths: 500 mg/125 mg and 875 mg/125 mg. The 500 mg/125 mg tablets are suitable for patients with normal renal function, while the 875 mg/125 mg tablets are recommended for those with a creatinine clearance of more than 30 ml/min. The tablets can be taken with or without food, although absorption of clavulanic acid is slightly greater when taken with food.

Our Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium Tablets are part of the USP standard combinations of penicillins, ensuring high-quality and reliable treatment. The tablets are film-coated and come in a convenient bottle of 100 tablets. For optimal results, it is recommended to continue treatment for at least 48 to 72 hours beyond the time symptoms subside or evidence of bacterial eradication is observed.
