Uses:

• Nasal Congestion: Ethifrin Eye Drops are specifically used to relieve nasal congestion and discomfort.
• Supraventricular Tachycardia: It can also be used to decrease the heart rate in conditions like supraventricular tachycardia.
• Hypotension: For procedures requiring anesthesia, Ethifrin Eye Drops may be used to raise blood pressure and maintain it.
• Prolongation of Spinal Anesthesia: It can be added to the anesthesia solution to increase the duration of anesthesia without increasing the risk of side effects.

Precautions:

• Allergy: Not recommended for patients with a known allergy to Ethifrin or any of its components.
• Hypertension: Not recommended for patients with severe hypertension as it may worsen the condition.
• Ventricular Tachycardia: Not recommended for patients with ventricular tachycardia as it may worsen the condition.

Usage:

Adults: 1 drop as required. May continue the following day for glaucoma, vasoconstriction, or pupil dilation. For ophthalmic irritation, 1-2 drops of 0.12% into the affected eye, up to four times a day.
