• Severe Renal Impairment: Diuralka is contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment, associated oliguria, azotemia, or anuria.

Interactions and Side Effects

• Drug Interactions: Diuralka may increase the excretion and decrease the serum levels of certain drugs like chlorpropamide, lithium, methotrexate, methenamine, salicylates, and tetracyclines. Conversely, it may decrease the excretion and increase the serum levels of drugs such as mecamylamine, flecainide, quinidine, and sympathomimetics.
• Safety in Pregnancy and Lactation: The safety of Diuralka for use in human pregnancy and lactation has not been established.

Storage and Shelf Life

• Storage: Store Diuralka protected from light and excessive heat.
• Shelf Life: The syrup has a shelf life of 24 months.
