CareBag Emesis Bag with Super-Absorbent Pouch

The CareBag Emesis Bag is designed to make managing emesis easier and more hygienic. This disposable purple bag features a super-absorbent pouch that can hold up to 500 fl mL of fluid, preventing splashes and spills. The bag is easy to use with just one hand, and its semi-rigid comfort ring holds it open, making it simple to place over a patient.

The super-absorbent pouch contains powder that quickly gels the emesis when it reaches the pouch, effectively containing the fluid and odors. This helps reduce the risk of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) by minimizing contact with bodily fluids. The bag is more hygienic than traditional emesis basins and comes with graduations to measure the volume of emesis.

Each bag is compactly stored in a plastic sleeve, making it easy to fit into existing dispensers. The bags are FDA Class I Medical Devices and are 510(k) exempt. They are latex-free and come with a printed scale measuring up to 1000 cc or 36 fl oz. The bags are single-use only and should be disposed of in regular trash unless they contain infectious waste, following facility guidelines.

For storage, keep the contents dry and away from humidity, and store them at a temperature above 41°F. Each sleeve contains 20 bags, and the product has a shelf life of three years, with the expiration date printed on the sleeve.
