- Rare but Serious Side Effects: Severe life-threatening hepatic reactions, hepatic failure, acute fulminant hepatitis, renal insufficiency, haemolysis, haematuria, interstitial nephritis, and exfoliative dermatitis.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Pregnancy Category C: Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but the potential benefits may warrant use despite the risks.
