For adults, the typical dosage is one tablet every 12 hours for the 875mg/125mg strength, or one tablet every 8 hours for the 500mg/125mg strength. For children, the dosage is based on their weight and is usually given in two divided doses every 12 hours or three divided doses every 8 hours.
