Administration and Dosage

• Route of Administration: Carpsol must be administered exclusively by the intravenous route.
• Starting Dose: The recommended starting dose for previously untreated patients with normal kidney function is 360-400 mg/m², administered as a single intravenous dose over 15 to 60 minutes.
• Treatment Interval: The treatment should not be repeated until 4 weeks after the previous administration, or until the neutrophil count is at least 2,000 cells/mm³ and the platelet count is at least 100,000 cells/mm³.

• Haematological Toxicity: Frequent monitoring of haematological nadirs, electrolytes, and kidney function is required.
• Electrolyte Imbalances: Decreases in sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium levels have been observed in a significant number of patients.
