Epomet

EpoMet G Moulding Powder is a high-hardness, hot mounting epoxy designed for metallographic specimens. It offers excellent edge retention and low shrinkage, making it ideal for precise mounting applications. The powder is black in color and has a mild odor. It is insoluble in water and has a density of 0.9 g/cm³. EpoMet G is stable under standard conditions and does not decompose if used according to specifications. It is not listed as a dangerous substance under Directive 2012/18/EU, but it is recommended to avoid breathing dust and wear protective gloves and eye/face protection. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water and remove contact lenses if present. For safety, take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Dispose of the contents and container according to local, regional, national, and international regulations.
