Ryzodeg 70/30 FlexTouch is a combination insulin pen that helps control blood sugar levels in adults with diabetes. It contains insulin aspart, a fast-acting insulin, and insulin degludec, a long-acting insulin. This combination starts working within 10 to 20 minutes after injection, peaks in about an hour, and continues to work for 24 hours or longer.

It is designed to provide consistent blood sugar control throughout the day and night, reducing the risk of hypoglycemia, especially during the night. The active substances in Ryzodeg are produced using recombinant DNA technology, making them slightly different from human insulin.

This insulin pen is available by prescription only and is recommended for adults, adolescents, and children aged 2 years and above. It is not suitable for children under 2 years due to unstable dose requirements and the inability to express symptoms of hypoglycemia.
