This sterile, disposable surgical blade is designed for precise and delicate cuts. Made from high-grade martensitic steel, it offers exceptional durability and sharpness. The elongated triangular blade is sharpened along the hypotenuse edge, making it ideal for stab incisions, such as lancing abscesses or inserting chest drains. It is typically held like a pencil and often used upside down to prevent deep incisions.

The No. 11 blade is versatile and used in various medical procedures, including inserting laparoscopic ports, central lines, and opening the aorta. It is also used in podiatry for treating disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. Each blade fits standard scalpel handles, such as the Swann-Morton Handle No. 3, and is individually wrapped in a sterile peel pack for convenience.

This product is compliant with ISO 13485:2016 and EU Medical Devices Directive 93/42/ECC, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
