Vandazole is a nitroimidazole antimicrobial gel specifically designed to treat bacterial vaginosis in post-menarchal females. This topical treatment is administered intravaginally and comes in a 0.75% gel form, supplied in a 70 g tube with 5 vaginal applicators. Each applicator delivers approximately 5 grams of gel, containing 37.5 mg of metronidazole.

How to Use Vandazole

• Dosage: The recommended dose is one applicator full of Vandazole, administered intravaginally once a day for 5 days. For best results, it is suggested to use Vandazole at bedtime.
• Contraindications: Not for ophthalmic, dermal, or oral use.

Each applicator full of 5 grams of vaginal gel contains approximately 37.5 mg of metronidazole, USP.
